He then went on to serve his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Monmouth Medical Center in 1980, and his fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1983.
In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, he is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology & maternal-fetal medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
